I highly recommend Prof. Xia’s book entitled “Current Research in Acupuncture” to readers. I have known Prof. Xia for a long period of time. This book provides very comprehensive and current information on acupuncture research, from basic theory to clinical practice. The all contents would be highly valuable and helpful to physicians and biomedical researchers. In fact, this is the first book that explores acupuncture therapy, based on modern technologies, and the underlying mechanisms in multiple aspects of medicine and science.
